               ช้างเป็นสัตว์ที่มากด้วยเรื่องราวและเนื้อหาในแต่ละสังคมต่างๆกันในโลกนี้  ในประเทศไทยช้างเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของชาติและเคยเป็นสัญลักษณ์ในธงช้างเผือกของไทยในอดีตที่ผ่านมา  ความผูกพันของคนไทยที่มีต่อช้างนั้นมากมาย ในระดับลึกซึ้งถึงจิตวิญญาณ โดยได้เปรียบตัวเองว่าเป็น“ลูกช้าง”ด้วยความนอบน้อมในยามที่อธิฐานจิต...อาทิเช่น “...สาธุ...ช่วยลูกช้างด้วย...”

         ช้างในงานศิลปะปรากฏมากมายในโลกนี้ โดยเฉพาะในวัฒนธรรมเอเชีย และประเทศไทยและในปัจจุบันงานศิลปะจากปลายงวงช้างเองก็สร้างชื่อให้ประเทศไทยโด่งดังในระดับนานาชาติ  จากผลของตัวเองที่ผ่านมา  ด้วยสำนึกถึงความเป็นคนไทยคนหนึ่ง ความตั้งใจในการสร้างงานศิลปะให้แสดงถึงเอกลักษณะความเป็นไทย มีความมุ่งมั่นนำช้างมาเป็นสัญลักษณ์แทนค่าของชีวิตและจิตใจ  จากความรู้สึกภายในแล้วถ่ายทอดมาเป็นภาพของความรู้สึกที่แสดงถึงผลกระทบต่อสภาวะปรากฏของจิตใจตัวเองและสภาวะปรากฏของสังคมที่เกิดขึ้น และหวังที่จะให้สังคมมีแต่ความสุขสงบ  ปรากฏในผลงานที่ทำตลอดมา

               ในงานศิลปกรรมครั้งนี้ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจใหม่ จากการที่ได้ไปทำงานร่วมกับช้างในการวาดรูปร่วมกัน ได้ใช้ชีวิตร่วมกัน เกิดการเรียนรู้ความรู้สึกจากช้างที่ได้วาดรูปร่วมกัน จากตรงนั้นช้างได้แสดงให้เห็นถึงพลังฝีแปรงจากปลายงวงช้างที่ให้ผลงานทั้งสด ฉับพลัน อิสระ เฉียบขาด ทรงพลัง บ้างก็นุ่มนวลอ่อนโยน และเต็มไปด้วยชีวิตชีวา เสมือนได้เรียนรู้เคล็ดลับวิชาหนึ่งจากตัวเขา  จึงนำมาเป็นแนวทางในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะที่ให้จิตนาการและความรู้สึกที่หลากหลายมากขึ้น  ก่อเกิดการสร้างองค์ประกอบใหม่ๆในผลงานที่แสดงทัศนะธาตุทางศิลป์ที่แสดงปฏิกิริยาเคลื่อนไหวเปลี่ยนแปลงสัมพัทธ์กัน  เป็นตัวกำหนดให้รูปลักษณ์ช้างซึ่งแทนค่าของชีวิตจิตใจ  ได้เข้าไปสัมพันธ์ในสภาวะปรากฏนั้นๆเปรียบดุจชีวิตที่ต้องเวียนวายอยู่ในห้วงกรรมจากปัจจัยการกระทำของตนเองที่สร้างขึ้น เป็นเหตุให้เกิดผล และผลก็เกิดได้จากเหตุ อันเป็นสัจธรรมของโลก

                หวังใจไว้ว่างานแสดงในครั้งนี้จะนำพาให้ทุกคนได้สัมผัสกับสุนทรียะรสทางศิลปะ ในภาพความรู้สึกที่มีชีวิตชีวา ในโลกทรรศน์และสภาวะสังคมที่ดำรงอยู่ มุ่งหวังให้เรียนที่จะอยู่กับตัวเองและผู้อื่นอย่างมีความสุขสงบร่วมกัน.

           The elephant is an animal linked to many kinds of stories in all societies. In Thailand, the elephant is a symbol of the nation, and also featured in the old albino elephant flag of the country. The relationship Thai people have towards elephants is a deeply

spiritual one, with some Thais referring to themselves as ‘elephant’s offspring’ in prayers, as in “Sathu ... Chuay luk-chang dauy” mean ("Oh! God please help me").
            The elephant also often features as a motif in the arts, especially in Asia. Thailand has gained international fame for works of art created by elephants with their trunks. From creating works of art, the artist has come to appreciate being a Thai person among many, gained determination to create works that reflect unique characteristics of Thainess, use the elephant as a symbol of the value of life and the mind, and convey images of inner experiences that have been influenced by both the artist’s mindset and societal conditions. The artist’s desire to see a society that has only happiness is reflected in these works. 
            This present work of art was inspired by working, drawing, and living together with drawing elephants, which led to learning about their feelings. The elephants demonstrated masterful use of the brush with their trunks, producing fresh, instant, free, determined, powerful, lively yet sometimes soft works of art. It was like learning secret tricks from them, and then putting those tricks to use in creating works of art that inspire imagination, produce more diverse kinds of emotions, and have new kinds of visual elements that in interaction, movement and constant change link the elephant, as a representation of inner experiences, to such phenomena, creating comparisons with life bound to the cycles of karma caused by our own actions and the laws of cause and effect, which are the true nature of this world.
             The artist hopes that the works presented here will bring all viewers into contact with the artistic tastes featured in these lively representations of feelings, world views and current societal conditions, and facilitate our learning about being in peace and happiness with ourselves and with others.
